It’s Polo Season at the International Polo Club of Palm Beach

There is no shortage of culture and natural beauty when living in the Palm Beach area. And, with year-round warm temperatures, there’s always the opportunity to enjoy outdoor events. One of the local events that captures all of the most luxurious qualities Palm Beaches has to offer, is polo.

This event mixes sport, culture, and tradition in a way that audiences from long and far come to enjoy. It’s a staple of our community and one more addition that makes living in the Palm Beaches such a positive experience.

From January to April, the International Polo Club will host some of the world’s most accomplished polo athletes and horses for matches that draw the viewership of socialites, celebrities, and more. There are weekly matches scheduled for Sundays, with matches starting at 3:00pm, as well as daily events to attend. The admission gates open at noon so that visitors in the stadium, bleachers, and picnic areas have the opportunity to find the best seats available.

There are several ticket options available: general admission is $10 per person and this allows visitors to sit in either the bleachers or picnic area (first come, first-served), stadium seating is $30 per person (seats are assigned) and will allow visitors a close-up viewing of the match, and box seating is $150 per seat (with eight seats to a box), though boxes are usually bought as a set.

Aside from seating options, there are also opportunities to take part in the Pavilion Champagne Brunch at 2:00pm, access to the Celebrity Cruises Polo Lounge, and seasonal reservations for the East Side Tailgate. Additional ticket options are open for International Polo Club members. For a high-octane polo experience, you might also find Gladiator Polo interesting, as it adapts the rules of polo for a faster and more competitive game.
