Local Gelato Shop Named Florida's Best

If you haven’t noticed, the summer heat throughout South Florida has been relentless over the last week or so, which is exactly what makes this recent news story we saw so fitting.

In case you missed it, popular online dining guide/review website Yelp recently listed the best ice cream/frozen yogurt/gelato shops in each state, and Florida’s just so happens to be located right down the street in Juno Beach.

Matty’s Gelato Factory, which only opened back in 2017, took home the Sunshine State’s top honors, and its owner, Matty Cairo, was just 23 when he started the business.

According to Matty, Matty’s Gelato Factory features both American and Italian flavors, and top sellers include the Tiramisu, Stracciatella (Italian chocolate chip), Cake Batter, and one of our personal favorites, OMG (Coffee, Chocolate, Mascarpone).

Also on the menu is a variety of seasonal flavors, which include Apple Pie, Pumpkin Spice, Candy Cane, White Chocolate Peppermint, and Eggnog.
